nice behavior/action.....I may never even see an eagle in the wild before I die
you will, might be anytime, and they are all over now.

Nice action set! Very sharp and crisp. I like #2 the most. The only things that prevent it from being 'perfect' IMHO are the higher horizontal angle and the eagle was not flying straight at the camera.
Great job of not blowing the whites and keeping all details in the dark feathers (see #4 & #5).
Andy
Thanks Andy, I throw all images where I loose the whites and can't recover them, also tons of side but shots too.

Really beautiful BE shots. I'm amazed how sharp and detailed these are, considering a TC was attached (as Thang pointed out). Nice color, exposure and processing. Really well done.
Dave
Thanks Dave, and Thang, I do have a pretty good copy that works well with TC,

great shots. It's even more impressive to know these were taken with a TC!

Super shots Wade, I'm really likin' #4. I'm assuming these were taken as soon as I left St. Louis!? If they don't start flying up this way I might see you down there.
Doug
Doug, yes these were taken on the day you left, thanks again
