It's a funny comment about Italians and diamonds because that groom happens to be Italian and the photo was taken in front of the Trevi Fountain in Rome.
The bride with this ring told us that she spent more on the rings than she did for the whole wedding. The wedding and reception were gorgeous. I wonder how many total carats there were combined. I think she said her ring was around 5 carats, total weight... (this is an OLD picture, BTW)
Ooh... I used to shoot estate jewelry for a jeweler and the biggest I ever did was TWELVE carats. I so wish I had those files, but the agency I worked for kept them when I quit I did a ten carat too and some bracelets and stuff that would just blow your mind. Looking back though I wasn't very good at it, lol!
