cool shots tony. my pics of the series are #1 (just a nice composition and pleasing color tones, 3 (the density of birds in the shot make a great impact) and 8 (cute male house finch?).

Thanks, Cedric. That was the first time I have seen gulls flying in this manner in a large flock. It reminded me of a small shorebird (maybe Sandpipers?) that fly like a group of swarming bees, and when they turn in one direction you can see all their white underbellies, and when they turn in another direction with their dark backs towards you they almost disappear.
