speak for yourself. I have shot more than 10 percent of my images in three years with this lens. Thats 1 out of ten when I own more than 20 other lenses !!!! Everyone will be different, only the person asking the question can know what they like to shoot, etc. So back to the original point, ask yourself this question deep and hard, what do you need/want this lens for, and is it worth it, don't ask the forums....we all will tell you conflicting information for any number of reasons
