This one even surprised me. Just a washing machine pan, a bottle and some manual rocking.

No moves in PS accept Levels, sharpening and noise reduction.

This image is dedicated to Mike Malloy. In the last 5 years Mike has been like a brother to me. Telling me when my images suck, when they're good and anything in between. He is the standard I've always tried to exceed. Without him, I'd still be shooting sunsets.

And yes you didnt disappoint. Stunning image you may make it two in a row with last weeks image as well.
The colour is just perfect against that background.

This is a wonderful piece which carries your creativity and technical skills but also gives me more. Your work always makes me "think" about what your images mean to me, "symbolic" if you will. This time you give me an added journey. It allows me to read into it but listen as well.

Well no doubt this one does "not" suck ... !!! Very cool image. It reminds me of message in a bottle.

Can you tell a bit about the photo set up ... were you on a tripod, use a polarizer, what kind of camera/lens combo? If you want to that is. It's really a splendid shot and I'd like to learn ...

My first thought was 'Mike' even before I read your introduction. I too have been inspired to improve my photography for the same reason and even launched my own version of the mousetrap on another website. That won POTD within a few short days.

Now, back to your pic. Great capture with visual impact that makes it look as if it will be well up there in the voting. Spot on lighting.


PS. Is that a genie in the bottle?
