the WB in the first shot in your originals seems too cold... and yes they are both on the bright side (but not overexposed).

I like the warmer alternate version as the WB in those suits people shots better... but that's just me

I like the cooler shots (the first two). Lighting is great, bright, but not blown. Looks good.

Nice shots Phillip! I too prefer the warmer tones. Nothing better than seeing your tack sharp reflection in your subjects eyes when trying out a lens for the first time

I think the exposure's great. A brightly exposed face is usually very flattering and gives a lovely natural look. A change from all the ultra-punchy hollywood PP you see.

Yeah, I didn't think the exposures on the first set were unusable. But now I do feel that the 2nd set is more appropriate.
