Quick question on exif: if all your power is coming from the strobes anyhow, why shoot at 1/30th second? You could bump that up to 1/125th and the concrete would likely darken up a tad as well unless light spilled from the Bees.
Thanks for the advice. I don't know much about lighting, haven't had a class, and haven't really had that much experience with it, so I didn't even think of that.
I've gotta do one more person there tonight, I'll give it a shot.
Yea I like the other better too -- the lighting on the face is better, and the expression on her face is a bit more "comfortable." This one she almost looks like she doesn't know what to do.
No background. Here's the hallway I've been shooting in. There are small enclaves where the apartment doors are. I have my strobes nestled in those, on either side of the hallway.
