Just got an e-mail form Amazon.com that they are offering 12 months no interest or payments on all kinds of cameras, lenses, etc. This includes the D700, D300, D80, D60, Nikon 14-24mm and lots more. It's bad enough to have NAS and have to pay for something. Now you can cure your NAS and not worry about paying for a whole year.
Now if I could have combined the Amazon deal with the www.Live.com deal - I would have been golden! NAS hit me hard - thank goodness I was able to sell all my DX items - that will help to offset my damages.

Luckily I always felt weird about buying lenses i couldn't use on my film bodies so i am not heavily vested in dx glass only the 18-135 that came with the d80 and the 55-200vr everything else I have if ff so when i add a D3 it will be a smooth transition
My wife not only looks at our VISA payment schedule, she now has the card in her possession. I gave it to her back in January of 08 after going on a spree getting the D300+ grip, 14-24, 24-70, 70-200vr with a 1.7 teleconverter, 50mm f1.4D, 70-300vr and SB800. Since I couldn't use the card anymore, I had to sell off the D300, 70-200vr,14-24 and SB-800 to get the D700, SB-900, Tamron 70-200 f2.8 and 28-300vc. I'm ok with all that except I'd sure love to go over the edge and either get a 300mm f2.8VR and 1.7TC or a 200-400VR. I keep telling myself then I'd be done with it....but I know I'm just lying to myself anyway so I stopped thinking about it
My wife just yelled down that UPS just dropped off 4 boxex and one is insured for over $3000 - cat's out of the bag 14-24 and the 24-70 just showed up,

Geeze you guys - who wears the pants anyway?? When I feel like getting a new piece of equipment, I just buy it. If she doesn't like it, that's just too bad. If a 600 F4 VR came in the mail today, she better keep her mouth shut. Come on guys!
OK, that whole thing is total BS, but it sure felt good to say, !!!

Who did you order from? I'm about to get a D700 and these are the two lenses I'll be ordering for it.
I ordered the 2 lenses off of ebay - An authorized Nikon dealer out of Merrillville Indiana. Ebay Auction #'s were 330277982954 & 330277986847 if you want to look them up and see the seller.
The D700 I ordered from a different Nikon dealer out of PA since his price was under dealers cost according to dealer I purchased the lenses from since I tried to get him to price match. If you want the auction #, let me know as last I saw he still had 2 left to sell.
Thanks, I'll keep them in mind when I order, but ebay scares me these days. But with a little googling they appear to have a real store in Merrillville.

They are the real deal - I checked out Nikon to make sure they were an authorized dealer - just received the lenses today and they are PERFECT!

What e-mail address does your wife use. I want to send her a link to this post.

What amazes me is that she is still married to you. She has to be a real jewel.
I just fell victim to this... D300 is now on B/S forum and a new D700 on the way... I was going to hold out for a while but the 0% financing got me, and it has probably been 5 years since I fell for a 0% deal, but how can i pass this up!!!
