It's pointless to send more kudos your way, Mike! you never post anything that isn't masterful! That looks like the same Teddy that has appeared in other of your shots. Did you have to rip his head off to achieve this? PETA would be distressed.
Hope - I love it! You should send this to the Obama campaign.
Aaacck! I hope the decapitation happened only in Photoshop!
I would say, "Love the lighting!" but I'm getting really tired of saying that regarding your submissions!
Love it!
I see the emotion in Teddy, but it also evokes emotion in me... I'm coming over there right now to mend him!

I am going to send some self portraits of how I feel every time you submit. One of complete frustration that you have produced yet another fantastic shot, and another of complete awe that you can do it every week. Great shot.

Ahhh but Kudos from you my friend is always an honor. Thanks Pal!
No, I did not rip the head off. That would just be wrong, besides the fabric was too tough. I had to cut it off. I have two props now and at least it was not my ear.

Carrol, Photoshop? You know me better than that! Actually, I did almost make a false floor and cut a hole in it so just the head was sticking out but then I remembered they sell this Teddy at Wal-Mart every Christmas. (bad Mike)

Thanks Gunny!! That means a lot my friend. I know the awe and frustration oh too well when I see the awesome shots that get posted here every week. Ha, but this week I shot early so I don't have to say to myself "How can I compete with that?" I love the friendly competitive environment we have here. For every posted shot that makes me say "WOW", motivates me to pick up my camera and that's a good thing
Mike - You beheaded him!!! What is it you say "anything for the shot".
Nice take on the WA. I like your choice to elicit the emotion instead of just showing it. However, I agree with Carrol I feel like I need to come over, put my talents to the test and perform surgery.

Sorry about that sweetie!, but Teedy says he is all about the shot and he didn't mind a bit. He is already asking if his body will show up in a future WA? What a ham!
I can see you have your understanding of lighting is down pat, I am always amazed at how much your photo's brings out the different emotions to your shots, always inspiring Mike.
Norm , thanks for stopping by my photo, I did another shot after your suggestions, hope you stop by again and take a look.
I hope no Teddies were harmed in the making of this shot and you just cloned his body out!!
Although he does look a little concerned at that needle and what next weeks assignment might be!!

Adam!, It’s great to see you. Thanks for stopping by. A little "displaced" but Teddy is doing fine!
Yep, everything they said and of course, its Mike!! Can tell right away! Its great as usual. You just have a way with your stories that I am still trying to get to. Maybe now with my new house and new studio in it, I can mess around better. I would like to personally suggest this. Get away from your usual setup and bring something completely different to the table. You lighting, skills, everything about you, and your record can't be touched by anyone, but I would love to see something completely different. I remember one time you stepped out and took a pic of some yield sign or something. I was so wild to see. I can just imagine what you could do without the two lamps, backdrops, locks, setups, and just bring a different flavor to it all...... We gauck at everything you do, and I would love to learn more from something different. Maybe it just me and by no means is this negative to the best of the WA!!!
My 12 yr. old could appreciate the humor aspect of the shot...my 5 yr. old...another story. While looking he said, "that's not funny" and walked away! !
It evokes 'emotion' that is for sure. I would say, "Good Luck" -- but you don't need it!
