that cake shot w/ the side lighting is yummaay..one thing though, i don't get #16. Did she just get a mercedes as a wedding present? or is she suprised about something else...
Sam, allow me to get in line with the love parade. Great clean comps and PP work. Simple, uncluttered photos that focus clearly on the subject and tells a story.

I have to get me one of those 70-700 2.8 IS's. It'll make me an awesome sports and birding 'tog, even though it weighs 40 lbs!
Somehow you manage to pull off the lack-of-wide in your wedding coverage. Especially since you're shooting for an album, you can just make composite images with the non-wide components from 2+ individual shots (shots that, left by themselves, wouldn't work that well). Since my current setup is shooting for 200 prints and a proof book (not an album), I can't really adopt this style.. even though the gear choice would be much easier. Plus I shoot solo so that leaves the light stick option out.
Excellent work as always. I only wish I was as far along as you in as many weddings shot. You seriously make me take my 50mm out and force me to use it... it must work! it must work!
This set is bad @$$!!!!!! Amazing job as always, you did the mexican hat dance for me recently so now I must do it for you! Assuming that you did it because you were happy because I am most certainly happy and inspired after looking at these shots!
Duuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuude........ I'm digging 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, and of course... 21. The last shot is super... so props to your mad skills for timing it right. When I get married, I hope my wife gives me a Ferrari. What? I DO plan to marry Oprah Winfrey or Angelina Jolie.
FANTASTIC SAM!!! I am tearing up just reading your little descrip & seeing the pics. SO COOL! Hope I get a car...... mine better be a 57 BelAir 2dr though.
Hilarious commentary yallz. The eye piece was big downers man. I was gonna photoshop another guys ear in but he was white. Kinda woulda clashed, no? (Prediction:: Jeremy will be fixing my ear piece photo in t~minus 17 minutes).
M. Oorthuis ~ can't believe I did that. Gonna fix it tomorrow morning. crap.
Jerm~ dude.....wow....cant believe I did that either.
Dawg ~ Were waiting man.....actually, their were SEVERAL I wanted to process and post, claiming em as mine.
Conrad ~ Yes, he gave her the benz. 5D has the 50mm 1.4 on it about 60% and then the 70~200. 40 usually always rocks the Sigma 30mm
Andrew ~ Thanks for the kind words bud. You pretty much dialed in EXACTLY how I approach the wedding day. I do feel the need for a wide lens at times but I'm all thumbs with em. I actually lost my only wide zoom about 6 months ago on an engagement session.
Sidewazz. Thanks bud. I use the 70~200 just about ever wedding have had one for about a year now.
