I'm not trying to get something I'm not entitled to, but I clicked through the coupon site and it showed the discount right up until I clicked to charge my credit card, whereupon it stripped out the discount and charged me full retail.
WillWeb it shouldn't have done that. I purchased additional upgrades with that promo link throughout the weekend without any problems.
Did you by any chance visit the regular Adobe Store and added the product to your shopping cart before using that link? I cleared my cookies everytime I used the link and it worked fine for me. As for the sales tax portion, Adobe does not have a business office in NC, so I wasn't charged a sales tax.
Got my download links and installed CS4 today. They weren't kidding about needing at least Elements 4.0 to upgrade. During the installation process it requested an upgrade product and 3.0 wasn't on the list. I even tried selecting 4.0 and entering the serial number for that but it rejected it.
Solution in the end was to buy a Wacom 6x8 Bluetooth tablet which comes with Elements 5.0 for Windows. Both the tablet and CS4 are now installed and working great.
Great thread...I am about to order a new mac laptop. Where can I get a discounted CS4? It seems to sell for over six hundred or over $300... Any codes available for a discount?
I already have lightroom.
Thanks.
