I'll add it to the list, I just want to make sure I've got the right lens. Thanks!
Yup, that's the one. But don't be shocked when you receive it. It's all plastic body, has a slow and noisy micromotor and a long throw for the focus (no limit switch). If you can get around these short comings, the pictures are very good from f8 up (it's a macro lens, so like most of the macros out there it starts shining at closer apertures). And it has a pleasing bokeh.
I normally manual focus it to close to what I want and then flip it to autofocus.
Amazon price looks high though. Look for Cosina or Vivitar as well. They are all the same.
I have a great copy of the Sigma 24-60mm f/2.8 lens and it has been a spot on copy since it came out of the box. Just my experience, thought that I would add that. I paid $180 for mine from Cameta a while back through Amazon when the price had some down a bit and wow - what an overall deal. A constant f/2.8 aperture lens with amazing sharpness and very pleasing bokeh for under $200??
Not to mention this is EX quality from Sigma with the crinkle finish that I find to be very pleasing. Also sports a zoom lock and a much more usable filter size than that of the Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 lens with is a much bigger animal overall. The 24-60 is a much more compact package and more 'portable'.
