Capturing the adult's hand was accidental. Dad reached down to pat his daughter's head just as I snapped the picture. I took another without his hand, but felt it mirrored the little girl's hand on her puppy's head and produced a display of affection from father to daughter to puppy.
This is really cute. The look of contentment on the dog's face really captures the month's topic of love. I think I'd leave the Dad's hand out. It would be more effective if actually on the child's head. Just an opinion though.
