Awesome lens. It's difficult to nail the focus at f2 on 5D but when you do that, the results are amazing.

oops... there are a lot of nice shots in this now older thread...

I'm pretty sure I also praised bluetsunami's shot early on, but for a portrait, somehow of all the portraits, in simplicity, sodjdobe's jumped out as very unpretentious, classic and graceful as a photo... don't know why.

Hope no one feels slighted.

Pictures like that are surprisingly easy with the 135L - it's a great lens.
My 1st L was the 200/2.8L which produces very similar results.
I was so inspired by those early pics that I've been pretty much a prime shooter ever since. Don't feel pressured...there's no need - just find yourself some good light (golden hour at dawn and dusk is ideal) and get busy...the lens will work it's magic for you :-)
