Wow, I just checked in to see if a new topic had been posted, and you've already entered!
Nice job. May I offer a critique/suggestion?
I like the angle and framing of the bridge, and the light and the sky are great.
I think it would be better if you positioned yourself a bit differently, either centered on the pillar, or even with your face against the sky on the right. The time of day would determine whether that's a good location for lighting your face, but from a compositional standpoint I think this would draw us in more, and even have the bridge more completely "overhead". I wouldn't change the overall framing of the shot, by the way.
Even if you completely disagree with my thoughts, I like your entry.
Thanks alot for the critique, that's why I post here!! I hear what your saying, I am not sure the sun was in position for that, but it is worth a trip back earlier in the day to try and see the outcome!! I posted a thread "under the bridge" in still/city forum on a different composition/photo from today incase you have time to check it out!!

Found it. I like that one too. Now see, you've given me even tougher ideas: you should be floating on your back under the bridge, with the clouds scudding overhead!
Beverly, thank you!
Photon- I am going to get back to that spot Monday and try it out!!
James, thanks! I did exactly that there too (minus the HDR, but I put a 10 stop ND filter on)!
(Think this would make a better entry??) Is this against the rules to post a link?? If so I will remove it.
