Oh, and I do agree with Yakim because the color of the pursuer's outfit is so similar to the plant's.

I can see how the small plant might bother some, but I thought it helped ground the characters into the scene even more and put some scale in there, i.e. the size of the plant (weed) is like a shrub they're running past. Anyway, made it more real for me.
The red thing by the nun's hand is the wind-up mechanism.
Howard.... how did I think of this....Well, my brain works kind of strangely to begin with, so that's 99% of it. I also had this Nunzilla toy on my desk and her expression looked like a scream, so my brain took it from there. I actually wanted to have a small Devil character chasing her but had no such thing; I would have entitled that "The battle between good and evil." ;-) I have toys left over from a kid project I did.
