This is a very enjoyable post Lil and it is a very good one. Nice verity with sharp and crisp IQ. You have done really well with #2 and #14 lotus flowers. Love the details, color and pose of #4. Congrats.

These are all great. The lotus flower was well captured there quite large. The dragons are my favorites I liked the orange one , Not sure on the ID.

Extremely nice series Lil. The shot of the little green heron by the waterfalls is so nice... what great timing. You have found a little haven there... looking forward to the next installment.

Great set, with a beautiful introduction, followed by exquisite images. Lovely flower shots. Excellent detail in the greenie and Dragons. All great shots. If I had to pic one, would be #4.

Beauties, Lil, both the landscapes and the birds I love those two BCNH shots, especially the waterfall one, and the GH was icing on the cake, so to speak
Ken
Thank you Ken,
maybe I'll see you up here one of these days. The waterfall was kind of dark so I was thrilled to get some light there towards the afternoon. Now I just have to try to get the GH in a better position. I will be staling him/her.
Glad you enjoyed

Cool shots, Lil. I take it they have no Koi fish in this pond, or is that why Greenie is there?
I am pretty sure the first dragonfly is a Greenie/Bluey, and the last one is a Reddy/Orangey. I know my dragons.
Tony
Thank you Tony,
there are huge fish as well as small ones. Even tiny ones. Simply put - - all sizes. I didn't see any Koi, but lots & I mean lots of fish. I even saw one go down the waterfall. Didn't catch it with the camera cause I wasn't looking through the lens at the time. Simply put, the lake & all the little streams which join up with the lake - - all have fish in all sizes in them. I'll post a shot of some of them later.
Love the dragon names.
So glad you enjoyed.

Terry
Thank you Terry,
It was a joy to open these files in NX I have to admit. By the waterfall, that's the Black-crowned Night-Heron. In the tree - that's the Greenie. It really was/is. I'll probably go back on Sunday. Only day open for free strolling.
Glad you like them.

Looks like you had a great day... I really like the 2nd and last flower shots. Can't help you with the ID of the dragonflies. Sorry.
Thank you Shelley,
glad you like the flower shots. I've not done any in a long time so I was a bit hesitant. I guess I better start searching "What's the Bug?"
Glad you enjoyed

Congratulations on your first Greenie Lil. You may have passed right by these before an not have known it. They can hide very well. They are pretty abundant here and I used to see them frequently but due to lack of rain in this area my spring fed pond has now dried up. Love the Lotus flowers and the #5 Dragonfly with shadow.

Nice shots Lil,color and texture on both lotis flowers are superb, and of course the Herons are way cool. Also, on an earler post your shots of the Redish Egrit were very nice considering your difficulty with the fencing.I'm out there tomarrow.
The Blue dragon is almost definitely a male Blue Dasher - I'm not sure about the second. Google "Odanata Identification" and you may find a better resource for your area as many dragonflies seem to be regional.
