Andy, I have to come back to your shot again. Especially, for people with small kids (and probably others, of course) this is such a precious shot.
It's a great circle (ok, square too ) of life feel.
PS. It sure would be good to consider increasing it to another generation if at all possible. Big WOWs again to you!! Mike
Ron... If I print it and put it on a wall it help encourage the "annual" shot.
Jess... Well spotted, there were a couple of things that I thought people would pick-up, that was one of them. The left handed home-made (not my home) shutter release button worked a treat, 3 switches give me wake, shutter, and lock... so it has the same functionality as a RS-60E3 but has a longer cord and cost less!
Mike... WOW, I'm glad the image does that for you which makes me both proud and shocked. It sounds like you too have to shoot one of these now, I look forward to seeing it!. Increasing to another generation... sounds like a great idea and of course in a time past I could have used a couple of generations. Oh, I should add the other generation would be older... I have a few football seasons left till I plan on being a grandfather!
Been looking at this for a couple of days and I guess I was brain dead?? Didn't realize it was yours. Nice job ! But this shot is taken from "up top" ?? Where's the "down under" side ?
This is a very compelling composition--a super idea, masterfully done! It fits the theme like a glove (how's that for a metaphor in this case? ).
Tom
Technically, that's not a metaphor... it's a simile. The use of 'like' or 'as' makes it a simile instead of a metaphor. (I know, I know.... shut up, Steve... no one really cares. )
Hey Steven, I thought the same but hey "fits like a glove" was still a cool comment. and hey isnt a simile the happy little guy at the end of your post?
hmmm... I just love the inglish... engrish... ingrish language
Thanks Joanna,
I'll add it to the "should be printed" pile.... I really must do that before the pics disappear into obscurity (one of the traps of digital)
