I can see and understand what you are trying to convey but something is missing in the composition. I'm not sure if you need to be lower, that may be it, or if its the gap between the two nearest headstones.
On your side of the pond its July 4th, on our side its November 11th, but the sentiment is the same. Too many people forget the sacrifice made by so many not only in the two great Wars but all the conflicts around the World that have taken place since 1945. We had a funeral last week in our Town for Private Jeff "Doc" Doherty who was killed in Afganistan in June. Whether you agree with the current conflict or not, never forget their contribution and their sacrifice.
