As for the lens, Jonas, you want me to write "anything I have to say", so here goes (....)
Thanks a lot for that well tempered report! I appreciate that, and the images work well with your words.

Very cool. A fixed focal 6x9 rangefinder... And the image works, it is much to my liking (also if I don't admire the bokeh). In fact, an admirable snapshot!

Eh Peter, you don't min let us know what 90Cron version you got there?
EDIT: Thank you. I suspected it was the AA but wasn't sure.

As I'm venting my opinions I can just go on; here I like the composition and the light. At the same time the image is a little disturbing... in this case it makes me look twice and explore the details. That's a nice effect.

No worries, Jonas. Thanks for the comments. I am not sure whether the reminder of keeping within the goals of the thread was directed at me. If it is, my apologies. As of late, I have been experimenting with different styles of imagery with focus still on background blur. Looks like it does not appeal to everyone. :-(

My comment wasn't directed to you, or anyone in particular at all. I just thought it was time to improve and leave the macro area. If there is at least one element saying something about the lens' way to draw the OOF areas, then it is fine.
(Btw, I don't recall a single image I have taken appealing to everybody.)

ooooooo nice! Will we see a comparison to the Leica 100 APO? I see a little swirl in the bokeh of the Canon which I don't remember seeing with my Leica, but I might be seeing things. IS and AF must be nice to use the lens at medium distances though.
