since i got this lens mainly for low light narrow dof this is the only shot i've put up so far with the lens stopped down a fair amount that has any kind of background to blur - shot at either f/5.6 or f/8 can't remember:
6) http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3476/3909036427_38c1290c16_b.jpg
all these shots were taken on 4/3 camera so they give an idea of the lens performance on 4/3 or µ4/3, not sure if this lens is mountable on a full frame camera.
i think this lens has popped up on this thread a few times but not on a cropped body (all shots taken on a 4/3 body). the nikkor 105mm f2.5 AIS probably wins the prize for the smoothest bokeh of any of my lenses.
thanks to everyone else for posting on this thread, it's great to get an idea of the character of these lenses before buying them, though i now have an unhealthy desire for a voigtlander 125mm lanthar.

Nice duck shot. The voigtlander is not an unhealthy desire, but the only cure is to get one.
What, no comments on this one...To me thats great Bokeh...BTW, It was taken on a 1.7x crop DSLR, not a medium format camera, in case you thought otherwise.
Understandably the lens in question is the only M645 lens I will never sell.

Every lens basically renders bokeh like this up close.
im getting this lens dialed in... its becoming rather fun even though my mod only allows focus up to 10' max (im not shaving the mirror).
the natural cats eye effect and the crazy way it draws is like making a painting straight out of the cam. i used a very strong s curve using canons neutral picture style, with the saturation jacked to max in dpp. some were shot with the "clear picture style" so i can see the rough look on my cam.
i wish we could modify the b/w style and load it in the camera
