I might have to re-shoot this since it does seem a little twisted and the framing is odd. The entrance is not even and you can tell it's on a slight incline at street level. The problem I had trying to frame this was its location. I like the uneven light reflecting in to the entrance, but it's flanked by a manicure and a teriyaki shop. They just don't fit the architectural features. I took 4 shots vertically to see if a pano would work better, but if that fails it's back out to the field.

I think this is a very interesting gritty shot. The contrast between the fancy pillars and the chain link gate is very compelling. Certainly give a feeling of decay. I like it a lot. I hope you can work out the technical kinks. Good luck this week.
BTW: I have to admit that is a composite of two shots and both were take this weekend. They just seemed made for each other and this assignment. I might try one more combination if I have the time, but it might not blend as well.
I like the first one the best---interesting idea, and I love the colors and light. The first doorway (in the first image) looks like it is leaning just a tad to the right. I would also consider cloning out the light and conduit.
Thanks Chris. I thought about cloning out the light and if I have the time tonight I might try it. And the building and columns are crooked so I left them that way I tried a couple times to get them straight only to add to the distortion. BTW: I like the first one as well. The others are were just for fun.
