Good examples illustrating how "situational" boke is - sometimes the same lens is very smooth and other times you get swirls and hard edges. All of these shots are very good.

Yes...See my post at the end of the thread and I have posted a couple of wide open shots from my Canon FL 55mm f1.2 which clearly show it has better bokeh than the Minolta 58mm f1.2 which was used to take the preceding pic.

Recently acquired Rokkor 58/1.2 taken at f/2.5. Now that Christie Brinkley is back on the market, I set a beer out for her, along with a chair poolside. But alas, something tells me that she's probably a Dom Perrignon sipper...
