What are the options for Nikon in the ƒ1.2–1.4 50mm range? Just the Noct Nikkor and the standard 50/1.4?

The Rokkor images look lovely, but can that lens be adapted to the Nikon mount? There are some lovely images here, for sure, cheers, KL

I strongly suspect that it could be adapted to Nikon. Likely even easier than the EOS conversion.

PM me if you'd like more info.

Nice shots memento!

Good examples illustrating how "situational" boke is - sometimes the same lens is very smooth and other times you get swirls and hard edges. All of these shots are very good.

Any more fast 50 bokeh to share? It doesn't have to be exactly 50mm. Any f1.2 or faster lens from 50-60mm.

Yes...See my post at the end of the thread and I have posted a couple of wide open shots from my Canon FL 55mm f1.2 which clearly show it has better bokeh than the Minolta 58mm f1.2 which was used to take the preceding pic.

Out of curiosity, can you tell me what kind of dog that is? It looks like, at least from this angle and the action involved, that it might be a PWD.

Recently acquired Rokkor 58/1.2 taken at f/2.5. Now that Christie Brinkley is back on the market, I set a beer out for her, along with a chair poolside. But alas, something tells me that she's probably a Dom Perrignon sipper...

Interesting distortion in the beer bottle, it almost looks slightly wide. Is this indicative of the Rokkor at close focus?

I also noticed the heavy barrel distortion on this shot, and some others, taken at close range with the Rokkor.
