I'm almost certain that XR means X-Ray, so that would be a X-Ray lens. I also have a Rodenstock XR Heligon 75mm f/1.1, but this one has a FL-mount (converter is on the way).

Camera is a 450D. And forget about easy picture-shooting. I have to focus by moving my tripod at focus distance of about 5cm (from front of the lens to the object). But I see it as a challenge.

Just snapped a few shots on my camera store's 5D with my new OM 50/1.2. Having had the OM 55/1.2 I have to say I am MUCH happier with this lens. It is faster and MUCH sharper:

Man I would LOVE to use a maxxum / Dynax 9 one day... the 7 was my favourite camera despite my allegiance to the EOS 3 and I heard some good stuff about the 9.

The titanium one was sexual
