Wonderful shots Ray! I just got back from shooting my first warblers this morning, those guys are tricky! Much rather shoot something more predictable like.... eagles or buffalo!!
I like the first version better than the second.... Spyder is a monitor calibration tool, at least on my computer..... so --- I'm a bit confused about what this issue is - can you explain? I think the first shot might benefit a bit from a "curves" or "shadows and highlights" tweak, but the second version has lost some depth/saturation of color. What exactly is the difference between the two, in terms of image processing?

Hi Sue
all I know is that my editing lately has left a lot of my images too dark, so I tried to brighten up the second try at the yellow warbler. I have the spyder 2 kit, but I have not learned how to properly use it.
