Oh my. The tie that binds... You never disappoint us, Flibbs - I really needed that laugh

It was bound to bind me to my certain death. I should have heeded all the warnings on the top. But no. I am but a simpleton.

Exquisitely splendid as usual! I have to tell you... this is this exact look my female koi get when they're being chased by the larger males during spawning season. Which means the glasses are way too sexy on you, as is the wide angle distortion...but only to male koi. Whew., Therefore, I think you're safe as long as you stay away from ponds and fish tanks.

That's not the first time my sex appeal with fish has been brought to my attention. This one time, at fish camp, I had to have 31 carp surgically removed from about my person as they clung on with their big suctiony lips. It still traumatizes me to this day and I've yet to look a fish finger in the eye since.

I suspect It's not a completely original experience or they wouldn't have put the little warning icon on the top alerting you to the utmost peril of wearing a tie near a shredder. That... or... wait a second... you don't think they'd actually put a warning on the top alerting you to a problem that someone imagines might be a problem even though there might have been no actual occurences of this type of accident?

They wouldn't...

...surely...

?

Hi Fibble,

Amazing and completely offbeat shot. You must have the largest collection of unusual glasses as anyone on the planet. The star glasses two weeks ago and now these. The lighting is terrific and the expression is even better. Great shot. Good luck this week.

Steve S.

I have over 7039 pairs of unusual glasses. Mostly of the type that can hold lead paint, for drinking. I like to drink lead paint from two glasses at once - just to heighten the experience.

I was trying to come up with some ideas for my own entry. Now that I've seen this excellent and hilarious entry, I don't even think I'm going to bother with my own. Kudos and good luck!

Love the glasses. Speaking of llamas and fish, have you tried using them for stereoscopic fish-eye shots? Llama-eye shots?

Good luck...

You must be blind as a bat without your glasses on. Those lenses look like the bottom of soft drink bottles.

Excruciatingly good as always.

PS do you ever do any serious stuff?

Nice shot! Thanks for your honesty regarding the injury to ties on this one, most of us wouldn't have the guts to confront this issue up front. I can see by the geometric design and colors, this species is obviously endangered. I'm sure it was an emotional and difficult decision to sacrifice this one in the name of photography.

Good luck!

Since Adam gets your pills and camera in your Will, can I have your talent in spades?

Pretty Please?

I'm going to try my best to give others a shot now, by saying this and jinxing you: Finalist!

Nope. Too scared. The llamas gave me evil eyes over breakfast and the fish have this terrifying slurp noise that makes my elbows foam.

Serious, occasionally. Deranged, mostly. More serious stuff in WWW, but not that much more...
