I like it a lot! If that's a water drop it would be neat to see a bit of highlight to accentuate the 3D a tad further, but it's great as is. Love the color and textures.
Definately go with the color/highlight version. The shot shows that simplicity and beauty can be one. The 3D effect is necessary to give the shot that extra something.
Very well done.
The shape of the droplet makes me think its upside down though.
When I first looked at it yesterday it was a verticle comp. I think it looked good as a vert. comp as well.
Thanks Klaus and I liked both orientations as well. The leaf is actually taped to a flat board and shot from above with the lighting coming in from a 45 degree angle making it a little deceptive. If I have some time later today I might try one take on this, but right now I have work to do
Very nice! I didn't see the first version, but this one works. Perhaps you upped
the contrast a bit too much, losing resolution in the greens. Matter of taste of course.
The highlight on the drop makes the shot, though it looks a tad fake. Anyway, overall
a beautiful pic, true to the topic.

Thanks and you're not the first one to mention the drop appears PS but it’s real. I think the shape of highlight give it that feeling.
