Actually, now that I think about it, there are three areas of focus in this picture:

1) The frame
2) The flowers
3) The groom's expression

Again, just choose one and make that the focus. Remember, keep it simple.

it's interesting, but interesting doesn't always mean good! For me a photograph should have 1 point of focus that the eye can settle on, this one makes my eyes go crazy!

I wish all people seeking criticism/opinions would take your positive attitude and willingness to learn to heart. I can tell that you are really considering the opinions offered. Thank you for that.

Have you not the good grace to provide CONSTRUCTIVE criticism Mr. "Cheese?" I can appreciate the hard work put into this piece and encourage you to continue to enhance your skills. If it had been my picture, I would have added color to the groom's corsage.
