Thanks, Noelle. Glad you liked them. Yes the looser got free a first time and they started another fight. He still lost, but he managed to get away again and, having learned the lesson, walked away, maybe with a slight headache.

Nice sequence of shots. I have anoles all around my house in Melbourne, FL, and have seen then fight on several occasions. I even saw a larger one kill a smaller one and eat him. Most of my anoles are brownish with only an occasional vivid green one. I've been planning to do a series on my "house dragons" so you've inspired me now. I hope I can get a good fight sequence like yours.

Hi Maggie, Thanks. Yup, I have Fighting Lizards on my porch. I hope it is not illigal.
I was actually drinking coffee, since it was about 7:30 in the morning, and I start drinking vino only after 8:00 a.m.
