Thank you, Steve! You seem to be quite outvoted but It's nice to get a dissenting opinion. You actually agree with my daughter. Here's a third shot that was taken from the other side of the installation.
All best wishes,
Endre

Hi Endre,
I will break with everyone else and vote for the second one. I like the variety of lights and symmetry and I like that the tree isn't in the middle, which I think makes it too much about the tree in the first one. Don't get me wrong both are fantastic. I just like the second one better. Good luck this week.
Very well done, I like the first one the best, I think if you could of just had the two rows leading to the Palm tree in the center would of made a great photo also. Hate to see all the electric go to waste they could of put them to better use I think, but you have an excellent photo here, thanks for sharing.
Thank you so much, Norm. I appreciate your kind commments. Yes, I think two rows alone would look great but unfotunately that isn't possible. The DWP charges a lot for electricity but every office in the DEP building (25 stories tall) is lit up all night every night. The government and utilities have plenty of everything to waste so long as they charge us for it. Then they complain that they have to raise taxes or utility rates.
All best wishes,
Endre

Thanks, Mark, You are too kind! Fibble was supposed to send me a batch of "Rubbish Pills" from over there in the UK but they still haven't arrived. Once they do, they'll do the trick and I'll start posting shots more in line with your request.
All best wishes,

Really lovely shots, and superbly shot. Do you think you could shock us one week and do something wrong
Take care and best of luck

Thanks, Carroll. I'm glad you like it! That surely is a lot of wattage. I don't know what time they put them on or when they turn them off. They can't possibly be burning 202 lights all night long. Then again, the bill is probably divvied up among the residents of LA so it's all in the name of "Art". I entered the 3rd one on the MA.
All best wishes,
Endre

Wow! That's a lotta watts!
Excellent job on the exposure, and the detail is wonderful.
(I like the 3rd shot, too!)
