I've probably voted for three or four of your WA assignments but I see alot of people going to find something simple to post and don't realy take the time to come up with something that shows your talent or theirs and I think there is more to your talent than a jar of sweet peppers, I don't mean to be judgmental and my WA probably has faults too, I guess Im just trying to see more in people's work than what I can get in a grocery store. Good Luck
Hi Karen, I like how the glass jar distorts how the peppers inside look. Also the highlighted embossed (is that right?) lettering is very interesting. Good luck this week!
Hi Karen,
I like the simplicity of this shot, it's not overly busy. The interesting crop and bright contents of the jar contrast nicely with the black back ground. Well done!

Sorry Karen for the late response. Don't want to beat a dead horse on the crop and how nice this is. I love the lighting and the colors especially how different this is compared to the rest. Lovely shot.....Well done
Karen, The colors and texture of the peppers at the bottom of the jar is marvelous! I agree with everyone on how good the composition is portrayed. The lettering on the glass adds depth. Nicely done!
Somehow I missed commenting on this gorgeous shot, Karen! Bravo for a well deserved finalist. I always love it when the mundane can be made to look spectacular.
Thank you all for taking the time to stop by and comment. I really do appreciate the feedback. I have been concentrating on two elements of my work: glass and landscapes. I tried to work the glass study into this assignment.
I have to say.... Mike - Yea Right!
I also have to say ... Norm, thank you for the vote of confidence and the check up. I appreciate your honest comment, it really means a lot to me. I will work on it.
