Stunning as as usual..... Well actually even more than usual
How did you get this close.......... Every time I've seen one of these guys all it takes is ONE MOVEMENT and they shoot off in the other direction like a canon !! GONE !!

Got lucky. I think they were too busy mining the food the melted snow cover provided. I had noticed them the day before when leaving work. The one padded along beside my car not far from the road. Came back on Saturday and pklaced myself where I thought their path may take them. Padded their way right at me
Gene - I must say those are fantastic shots. The only thing better than looking at these would be taking them. Very nice and it must have been a thrill.
What a photographic treat! A fine representation of this coyote and his hunting skills and his survival in the wild with battle scars. That is a fine series there Gene, that lens and TC sure represent wildlife well too, beatutiful color and BG's.
I love how Wolves and Coyotes pounce on little animals. Awesome shots, great capture on that kill, and all those shots of him/her looking right at you.

Beautiful light, fantastic detail, fun action, love the eyes and the texture of the fur, super BGs --
And I know the frustration of having a TC on and being too tight when the action starts.... argh....
Terrific set!!!!!

Super series! What a cool experience for you to be able to watch much less take such super shots! Certainly some wall hangers in this group. Steve W
