Thanks Ted! #1 is a barnswallow fledgling ready to get a meal from mom. The setting sun clor is a bit warm on the bird.

Holy crap, these are excellent images. Number 2 (canary?) is about as close to perfect as it gets, imo. Bravo.

Hi Gene. The bird shots with dinner in their bills are terriffic! Really neat and different. That heron shot has to be one in a million... what is the other bird

I don't recognize it.

Thanks J. Boy #3 was just barely - I wqas done shooting closeups of this fellow when he got the dragonfly and barely had time to snap the lens around and start shooting. Wish I could have gotten more of the head (eyes) in that one, but the comp doesn't seem to bad.
