Your work is very good, and the "best of the best" section is creative, but with a new marriage and life on the financial edge I wouldn't change careers to be a full-time photographer, maybe part-time though. A pro photographer will intially, if not always, face a feast or famine lifestyle with more of the emphasis on famine. Most pros who make it work are shooting people - weddings, portraits, sports activities, etc. Being successful in commercial and editorial assignments on a regular basis requires more mettle than drastically changing course because you had the rug pulled out from under you (as you described). I am not saying being a pro and earning big bucks is impossible, but as others have said it's hard work, long hours, and if your emphasis isn't on the business end of it, all the pretty pictures you make won't matter.

It seems Rudra must have decided to get out of the business or does he not like the good advice he's getting here. Maybe being impolite is why he's not getting any work.
I guess we will never know! Please let us know your decision, I can't sleep thinking about your situation.

stunning photos. But photography part is easy. It's marketing and business savvy that will be the challenge if you want to bring home the bread. All the best!
