Great composition Martin. I was there years ago in a June, and it was all green. I like this much better.

Hi, Tim.

The country up in the Highlands has gradually changed from green to brown as it has been overtaken by a type of bracken. The time of year emphasises this look which is very prevalent up here now. Glad you enjoyed.

Those rocks on the left look like they have some neat colors, were you able to get any closer views from there?

Hi, Jerry.

The rocks were wonderfully coloured and they appear in some other shots of that day - although I think they are more prominant in this ones. Using a very wide-angle lens, I neglected the close-up view. I should have banged on my 70-200, as the rocks themselves were well worth a shot.

Nice shot, Martin. The sky was difficult to expose here because of the darker foreground, but you did a great job. Very good work.

Thanks Daniel.

I did have to bring in the sky a little although not so much in this one as in some others. Those racing grey skies are very common in the area, and there was snow about.

Thanks, Randy.

Your not kidding! It will be a priority for when I go away in the spring!
