p.2 #1 · Printing, Mounting Large Panos

Do the laminates bond equally well to most rc papers? When I think of the finely stippled surface of Epson Luster, I wonder about small air pockets between the laminate and the "valleys" in the print surface, reading as milky appearance - does it happen? I can more easily imagine a transparent bond to papers like gloss or semigloss. I'll guess that matte papers are an unlikely choice (for a few reasons) if you intent is to laminate.

My only prior experience with the process Timothy uses, which looks simply grand in his booth shot, was with typical art posters. The mount (2" deep in this case) and laminate adds considerably to the feel of importance of the final piece. My local guy recommended a gloss laminate for color posters, and matte for B&W.
