Great shot, maybe a little less blur to determine that we are looking at Paris but love the colours.

Dear Adam, thanks for your comment. I changed it for one where you can figure out the Montparnasse tower in the background; I kept the lights out of focus because I just like them better like that.

I love this shot. It has gorgeous tone and I agree with you that the out of focus lights are great. I also find it very recognizably Paris. Great work.
This is a lovely image, I really like the out of focus back ground. I would never have guessed it was Paris. You could have said it was Buffalo NY and it still would be a great shot. Well done!

I do agree julien, I changed to medium format framing 5x4, cropping a bit on the right. Hoping you like it bteter now, thanks for your input.

The idea may be similar but my hat is off to Fred's Eiffel Tower Top. The composition, color and bokeh are gorgeous. Love it...Thea
Dear Thea, Thanks, I had not seen your input before posting mine, I avoid checking other's ideas before doing the assignement. In fact I did not know what I would shoot from the Eiffel tower before being there. I like this shot because it was hard to get, here in Paris we have a big metro strike going for a week, so I had to bike a long way in the rain with a huge traffic jam!
Nice colour and mood! I'm a bit confused though by the
out-of-focus background and in-focus foreground. The other
way round would've worked better for me.
This is one of my favorites, Fred, my friend! I may never see Paris, but I can imagine how it would look thanks to you. The lighting is gorgeous, and so is this image.
