Alex....Great minds think alike....I just spent an hour photographing oil and water. You did a wonderful job with it. I guess I will go back to the drawing board.

I may try a different background tomorrow ran out of oil and light today.
Had a similar idea myself but didn't get around to setting up. If you do re-shoot I wonder if a plainer background (possibly white) would be better. Also a plain glass without the gold bands. Looks great otherwise.
