Thanks, Marjorie! I started out looking for an abandoned church for something a little different but couldn't find one in my area. I then came accross this one which looked kind of lonely.
I love your composition Paul! If it was mine I might be tempted to trim a little teeny tiny of the top, And I love the crooked street sign as a counter balance.

I think your right. Somewhere deeply rooted in me is a great resistance to cropping to strongly horizontal pictures. I don't know why, but I often resist...I tend to squarish pictures. I actually even burned in the top a little because I didn't like how bright it was, but still failed to just chop it off.
