Thanks all. Steven - yeah, I debated about it but since no one had submitted one yet, I decided to be the first. The tombstones were more interesting to me than the church.
Joe and Ben - thanks. Joe - I did one in focus and this one; decided I liked the feel of this one better but you're right, it wasn't a distraction, just my feelings.
I think I have a photo of this church from our vacation in New England last summer. Of course mine is just a snapshot from the front of the church, your is much more imaginative and creative. It is cool to see a building that you have seen recently given an artistic treatment. Nice job
James and Greg - thanks! Greg - the cemetery is the Old Hill Burial Ground in Concord, so I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same one. Great town for churches and cemeteries, among other things!
This is the clear winner for me this week - Great angle & perspective, and just right on the post-processing too.
This is just the sort of shot I would have *attempted* to create had I had the time to participate in this weeks assignment. Had I done so, and achieved a result half as good as this one, I would have been very pleased with myself
Rob - thank you so much for your kind words! I'm very pleased this image has been so well-received and I appreciate the time people take to look at it and comment on it.
