Fascinating shot, Al, my friend! So much of interest going on! It takes real study to find everything. Wonderful work!
All best wishes,

Endre - Thanks for the looks and comments. When I started with this project it was the abandoned nature of the location that drew me, then I got the late evening idea, the reflection....well this is what evolved and I am glad you like it.

I wouldn't change a thing. This shot is unique and seeing the ghostly figure in the foreground just makes this even better. Don't reshoot, don't second guess, it is what it is and what you have is totally different than anything else. Freaky, scary, chilling, and nice all at the same time. Stick with the original instincts on this one

Hey Steve, Good to hear from you!! I tell you what - I am always looking to improve what I have done and if there is opportunity to do that I just can't resist messing around. In this case, I did go do another late evening shoot, but the perspective just didn't work as well. I really appreciate your comments and am glad you like it.
Nice shot. Love the twisting vines, the shadow across the figure, and the tones in the photo. IMHO I would darken/cut out??, the blue reflected sky on the top. It pulls my eye away from the figure and the vines, and the eerie feeling that they give to the photo.
IMHO this one is better. From past experience, Fred allows you to change or even submit new entries till he picks them. Oh also the figure looks strangely malformed, just right for your photo.
In my haste to make the change I overlooked your comment about the figure's malformation (the figure is me, and I thought the same thing). I believe the reason is that out of the 4 sec exposure, I only stayed in position for about 2 sec. I wanted a minimal representation, not a perfectly sharp capture.
