Flibble, are you mad? Such a normal image. My brain is
not fully convinced that cup and saucer are black, but it's a
great photo! Nice use of rule-of-thirds, diagonal, and round
shapes. Wonderful, silky reflections. An intimate and sensual
close-up; not too close, but enough to be promising. I love
this little twist of reflection on the coffee. Well done!
Mad? Me? I hope not. They have places for mad people. Places where matron's roam the corridors and they feed you pills to keep you sedated. Doesn't sound like anything in my life. Nosiree.

I managed to keep them under just long enough to take the shot Easier said than done, among their many were three olympic midget swimmers. I had to use the spoon to quell their feisty ways.

Brett Weston, how did you escape, and what ever impelled you to impersonate Flibble?
You had to know we'd see through your ruse, considering that he sees the world in purple, pink, and blue.
Well, nothing lost, we can comment on this entry. But how does one offer a constructive critique
when there's nothing to criticize? Aha, you failed to level the camera! What's the point of gorgeous curves and
beautiful dark and light shapes if we have to worry that our dose of "Slendid" (TM) artificial sweetener
may miss the mark when we pour it from a point that seems to be directly above the cup?
Are you out of your cups? When you're two coconuts shy of a llama, are you doing a
Carmen Miranda impersonation?...Show more →
So you're not impressed that I managed to resurrect myself? I would have thought that that was far more impressive than a mere character impersonation. Cuh! What you have to do around here to impress people...
Oh.. and er you can't trademark my splendid word, I mean, um, Flibble's splendid word. Not that I care, me being Brett and all that...

Yep. the 'Pod People' have got our Flibble!
Or, could it be that he's hiding deep within the depths of whatever is really in that cup.........(insert JAWS theme here).......... waiting to burst forth the moment an unsuspecting passer-by reaches for the handle? I shudder at the thought!
Eeek! Run! Run! That looks like my evil half twin (twice removed). He's not for messing, and by my reckoning, he'll have already taken the lives of the midget Olympic swimmers. This does not bode well.
Hi Flibble.........Would you like an oreo with your coffee? ...Once again, I have no idea who all these "characters" are in your fascinating accounts, but you take a good picture.....Love the angle, lighting and composition...!! Maybe you could give us newcomers a little background regarding, Matron, George, Mildred, etc.etc. and would love to know where the name Flibble originated...and I thought I was "kooky"

Um...
Well...dare I say that resurrection has never impressed me?
Not "splendid", that's public domain, it's "Slendid" [TM] to which I hold the rights!
Should we clue Judi in to the long-running saga of Flibbledeedee, or would that require
resurrecting (argh) archived threads that take 7 weeks to load?
Too bad Lionheart no longer provides all these valuable cultural materials to those of us
stuck in the USA. And what happened to Dr. Who?
Flibble, this is very, very good work - I like it very much. Very tasteful, even to those of us who cannot ever, ever drink coffee! It should be no surprise to us -- multi-talented, you are
Sorry to be so late in commenting - Jane and I have been extremely busy, but this is a wonderful entry, although I must admit that I would never have identified it as yours from the thumbnail. I must add my congratulations to you for this awesome entry. A finalist for sure!
