Great how you positioned the focus exactly according to the
rule-of-thirds. The square format nicely complements the oval of
the glass. White background and the choice of a single color are
great too. This image speaks simplicity!

i tried out different formats for this image, but the square-one
simply worked best, mainly because it supports the rule-of-thirds
quite well
I'll probably get knocked for asking this, but I'm just curious about something. How did you know what the subject of the assignment was going to be when this was taken on March 18, four days before the assignment was announced
Well, that does happen, Sabastian. But what brought this up is that I was looking at your web site where the gallery containing this photo is titled "2007.03.18"
Sabastian, I have no need to "do" anything further. The majority of those who participate here do so in the spirit intended, in order to improve their photographic skills. How and if you participate is your choice.
