Thanks everyone, this was a fun assignment as the idea popped into my head as soon as I read it. Chasing down an amish buggy on a cold morning proved the hard part. I did get some other cool buggy pics but not in line with this assignment.
Cal, I tried a straighten on the image but it just didn't do it for me. I guess I'm too much of a realist and I remember the distinct crown in the road.
Good shot Rob...makes me think of that old song. "God didn't make little green apples, and it doesn't rain in Indianapolis in the summertime...." hehehe Humor aside, a very good entry for the WA....good luck!
calw, I think if the cant to the right were straightened the trees and the poles would not line up with the frame and it would be much more disturbing. If viewed from the front the horse would line up vertically with the frame and the buggy wont line up with the horse, it really looks strange.
