My wife collects bottles and she graciously let me play with them! The red food die has actually been in the bottles for quite some time...it adds some color to the window.
I like the character of this image.
One detail strikes me oddly - having the liquid level below just one letter of the words doesn't feel right.
The "KREME" bottle even shows the residue of a higher level...
Maybe it's just a silly reaction on first viewing.
I do like the gritty texture, and the simple bi-chromatic palette.
not sure how I feel about the levels either. The Kreme bottle was on a different window and was subjected to more evaporation. None of the levels were set intentionally...it's just the way they were. Maybe I'll adjust and re-shoot?
PS...does anyone know why some entries show up under the link "view all WA239 entires" and some (like mine) don't?
