I've lost my taste for listening to Hannity as well as I have for all the TV hosts. The good thing about Hannity is that his Freedom Fund goes to a fantastic cause - Hannity doesn't get the money - and if the cards are played well... a spot on one of his two TV shows or his radio show would bring a lot of attention to the project, get possibly more books sold and a lot of exposure for anyone who has their photos between the covers.
Its something to think about - all that exposure means a lot. before I set any wheels in motion though - I'd like to get a consensus on at least this part, before I float it with what few connections I have.

Jim - you're blowing me away with all these great images. I brought my wife over to the computer to see them so she knows what a really great photog can do!
btw - email me if you would with the settings you're using on the Mark III - I'm shooting another airshow this weekend and would love to see if I get better results. As you can see - I need some help!

JW thanks for the nice verity you have posted. Of course we would never be board with your Mustang images.
Hats off for the very thoughtful suggestion by jbear2000 and for JW for agreeing without any hesitation.
You have captured very well the image of “A father takes a moment with The Lord”. Something got in my eye too when I was seeing this image. Thanks for sharing.

Just curious... who among us would consider using their photos from this thread to make a coffee table book something like Paul Bowen's Air to Air series that could be sold and the profits would be donated to something like the Shawn Hannity Freedom Fund for the children of the fallen soldiers in Iraq?
Jbear,
If your standards are low enough that you're willing to use any of my images, they and I would be truly honored to join you, and are henceforth at your service.
Furthermore, should you decide to embark on this project, count on my full support as part of the editing/layout/whatever team with you.

I spent several hours in different positions shooting from this beautiful aircraft. The crew flies it impeccably. What an incredible platform to shoot from, aside from the historical significance.

Pacific Prowler with Jim and Steve really getting around this season. Lot of buffing on that old bird, somebody must have arms like a gorilla by now.
Jim, absolutely brilliant photos and fantastic talent. If you ever get over to the UK head to some of the airshows with Spitfires displaying. The grace, elegance and sound is (to me anyway) even better than the Mustang. I work on the site of an old WWII airfield, and occasionally a Spitfire will do a flypast, even if I can't see it, I'll hear it. Heck, if you're over here, you'd be more than welcome to stay - and I've never met you, just know of you via this thread.
Keep up the stunning work (and posting them on here...).
The Prowler was down here in Georgia a couple weeks before GML and I suspect it will be back down here this weekend for the show in Peachtree City. If so - I'd sure like a chance to shoot from one of her "windows"!
"A father takes a moment with The Lord before his son launches in the Mustang....something got in my eye when I saw this scene so it was hard to capture. "
Oh my! I've been away a few days and come back to this! Must be something in the air 'cause whatever it is, is in my eye too.
Thanks, Jim, and everyone else, for a Thread Worth Following.
