Here is Siw Nystad after qualifying in the Norwegian round of the European dragracing Championships with a blistering 496kmh in 4.96 seconds. She made it to the quarterfinals before engine trouble stopped play.
Take into account she is 19 and this was her first full 1/4 mile after getting her top fuel licence the day before..
I will be posting some of the drag shots in sports corner later...

What kind of flash did you use that allows a 1/800sec shutter speed?

My 10d's flash can't go past 1/200 and my cheap HUAYI Studio lights HY-110 kit is only good for 1/250.

EX 580 set to high speed sync.... VERY strong sunlight.... I had the canon power pack in my pocket too, as it sucks the batteries flat quickly....

I underexposed by about a stop to control the hard sun and then "filled" with on camera flash

...I don't know why but I thought this was goig to be a drag queen race....and thought it was going to be really funny.
