Haunting. I needed to return to the image over a period of time, rather than commenting upon my first view.
Facial expression is hidden - and under the circumstances, I understand why that could be the most difficult thing to render properly, absent true grief or a consummate actor - yet the body language is so eloquent, and so perfectly complemented by the light and the softness, that it would be hard to find a better representation of emotional agony.
That's a powerful image.

Jess, you are so right about trying to get a facial expression correct when acting. Of course, I am sure that Robert could have pulled it off But, body language is universal, and so powerful. I am so glad you took the time to comment and am glad that it moved you. I just hope it isn't foreshadowing :worried:
