I'll take you up on that one my friend. Take your best available light protraiture shot with the G5 "light kit", and we'll go head-to-head on web presentation versus my pathetic ol' 3040.
Ok I am now saving raw files on pc then editing them. I edit the photo and then save it as a JPEG. Is thid what everyone else does. Is this a better way of using the file viewer and converting it to Jpeg, then opening it up on PS7.
I use Breeze Browzer, make as many alterations as I can to colour temperature, exposure, colour, contrast and then convert the Raw file to a 16 bit Tiff. Then I go into PS7 and crop, adjust colour balance and curves. Then if I need to I convert to 8 bit Tiff and resize to print size, then sharpen. I save the best shots as tiffs and convert the rest to the best quality jpegs. Hope this is of interest.
Canon's software is rather slow and of poorer quality than BB
did anyone try out the PS raw-plug-in? the small movie they show on th adobe website shurely looks immpressive. PS8 is said to have it included, but when will it come out?
