What a beautiful image, Brent. That's such a great overlook and you got some amazing light and clouds. I really like the tones and contrast as well. Awesome!

I was pretty excited to see those clouds when I pulled up. Usually, it's a "no cloud in sight kind of sky" near Moab.
Damn nice. Where did you take this from? I was there a couple of months ago and maybe recognize the white rim trail down there, but I'm not positive...

Ok, Thank you for your response, iīm glad for that, the most beacause it isnīt manipulated , today it is dificult to know, there is a lot of deceit and false photografers. the horizont sometimes has no remedy, you have all my most sincere congratulations.

One of my favorite places in the world to photograph and I've only been there once - but the potential is amazing. Brent, did you go into the canyons as well as the viewpoint ? This is a wonderful photograph.

I was only there for a very quick weekend, so I didn't get a chance to the south entrance of Canyon Lands. I spent a little time in arches as well, but this is my favorite shot from the trip.
Most of the other shots were shot to compare the ef 20 2.8 vs 24 ts vs 17-35 L to see which one was sharper.

Astonishing tone. I need to make a trip back out west someday soon. Lived in Ogden about 8 years and have fond memories of going here anytime I felt like it. Can't say I ever got fortunate to have both dramatic sky and light. Yer a lucky man.
My only teeny niggle is that little bit of what appears to be lens flare on the right side. I'll admit I've almost gotten anal over flare in the past two years - so maybe most folks can ignore it! ;-)
